New Delhi: A Delhi court on Saturday remanded five suspected terrorists allegedly involved in the September 13 Delhi serial blasts to 12 days of police custody.

The National capital was rocked by five bomb blasts on September 13 in which at least 24 people were killed and over 130 others injured.

A week after the blasts the Special Cell of Delhi Police raided Batla House in Jamia Nagar of south Delhi and gunned down the alleged mastermind of the blasts.

Police also arrested five people including the caretaker of Batla House in connecting with the blasts claiming Delhi, Jaipur and Ahmedabad blasts were executed jointly by the Lashkar-e-Toiba, SIMI and Indian Mujahideen.

Officials also indicated that the module was strongly motivated by international terror organisations like the al-Qaeda.
