The suicide note of a 25-year-old, who allegedly hanged herself, has revealed that she was distressed over a rape case against her husband. According to the suicide note accessed by CNN-IBN, her husband, the accused in the case, had served jail term in Mumbai over rape of a model.
It has been alleged in the suicide note that the accused, Nitin Chawla, used to beat up his wife, which forced her to take the extreme step.
The 25-year-old model in her suicide note blamed her husband of repeatedly assaulting and deceiving her.
The accused has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
According to the two-page suicide note, the victim was allegedly scared of her husband, and termed the marriage as the "biggest mistake" of her life.
The duo reportedly got married in January 2016. The victim worked with an event management company.
