Dharna against move for BSNL mobile tower

KOCHI: A dharna against the proposed BSNL mobile tower at Cherlai in Mattancherry was organised   by the Action Council led by four Residents’ Associations and leaders of various political parties on Friday.The dharna, held in front of the BSNL office at Mattancherry, was preceded by a march to the BSNL office from Cherlai. The local people, including women and children, participated in the march and the dharna which was inaugurated by Kochi Corporation’s 4th Division councillor K.A.Siyad.MSC Bank Ltd chairman R Naveen Kumar, Suseela Bhat, People’s Council chairman Stanly Poulose, R.Prakash and various party leaders took part in the dharna.
