BANGALORE: Many of us have admired Cinderella in our childhood days. Here was an opportunity to meet the Disney princess for all those children who adore her. Disney’s beloved princess Cinderella arrived along with Prince Charming on Monday at Bangalore Palace. The entrance was royal welcoming the princess as she delicately stepped down from her chariot and bowed to the gathering. Her beauty was magical and added elegance to the Palace. Her presence was warmly greeted with flowers by an 8 year old Anisha. Her fairy tale dream came true when she contacted the organisers through letters, asking if she could greet the princess. She said, “I am the biggest fan of Cinderella. She is so kind and pretty. It is like a fairy tale for me to see her. I admire prince charming too.” This is the first time that Disney princess visited our country. Live shows would be performed by Disney princess for children at Mantri Mall on Wednesday from 2 pm onwards.Director of the event, Avinash Pant said,“Disney Princesses have been a part of every little girl’s growing up years. They are timeless and ageless. Whether it is Cinderella or Snow White, little girls, all around the world have idealised these princesses and aspire to be like them.” He added, “Given Cinderella’s popularity in India, we are excited to bring her fans this amazing opportunity to meet her. We have also brought various characters of Disney world to India before.”Cinderella and Prince Charming will be travelling across India and meeting their fans in five different cities.Anisha said that Cinderella has a large number of fan followers around the world. She concluded, “At school, there are many who admire her and there are few who wants to marry her for her beauty. I even used to have my room walls painted of her images.”
