Replying to a question on the recent encounters, he said "Our security forces have gunned down three militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Kupwara and our forces are alert and will continue the operation against militancy".

"Security forces will also support us in Assembly elections," he said and added, "As far as launching pads in Pakistan is concerned, the number of militant attempts to infiltrate and launching pads are changing time to time, but we are ready to face any situation."
