ALUVA: Over eight students were injured following clashes between AISF and KSU activists on the UC College campus here on Tuesday evening.
The injured students Jassir, Asalaf, Vaisakh, Arun Varghese and Chandrapal of the AISF; Bilal of the SFI and Shabin and John M George of the KSU have been admitted to the Karothukuzhi Hospital. According to the AISF activists, many Youth Congressmen have been hanging around the campus since Monday when the classes reopened after a stir.

The AISF supporters alleged that the Youth Congress workers, claiming that they came to help the KSU activists, allegedly detained a firstyear student at the gate of the college.

Meanwhile, the KSU leaders alleged that they were attacked by the AISF activists when they rushed to the college gate after hearing about the clashes.
