ANGAMALY: In a new turn of events, thousands of faithful representing various churches of the Ernakulam Archdiocese, took out a rally in Angamaly town on Tuesday, expressing solidarity with the Little Flower Hospital management, where a section of nurses are on the agitation path.Those who spoke at a public meeting held in this connection alleged that a section of society aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the well-run super-specialty hospital, was behind the agitation.The meeting pledged to thwart the attempts of those creating difficulties to the hapless patients. The precious lives of the patients will not be put at risk. The gathering declared that the hospital will be protected at any cost. Malayattoor Hilltop Church rector Fr Xavier Thelakkat administered the pledge.Little Flower Hospital director Fr Sebastian Vadakkumbadan said that a small section of nurses are going on with the agitation even after their legitimate demands were met by the hospital management.
