Fashion for Relief benefit to raise funds for Citizens for Justice and Peace.

Mumbai: On Saturday, the ongoing Lakme Fasihon Week saw Fashion with a difference. Supermodel Naomi Campbell and hotelier Vikram Chatwal joined hands with LFW to host Mai Mumbai, a Fashion for Relief benefit to raise funds for Citizens for Justice and Peace an organization aiding those affected by the terrorist attacks of 26/11.

Bollywood also came all out to support the Mai Mumbai show. Also several leading international designer labels including Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Oscar De La Renta and Roberto Cavalli were showcased at the event. Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna, Ritu Kumar, Narendra Kumar, Vikram Phadnis and Sabyasachi were among the Indian designers who displayed their designs at the high profile show.

These designs will be available for purchase via a silent auction online on ebay - and the proceeds will directly support the initiatives of the ‘Citizen For Justice and Peace’.

Fashion for Relief is the brain child of Naomi Campbell started in 2005 - to bring together the fashion community to raise funds in times and places of need. The supermodel believes the event will send a message of solidarity and hope to the citizens of Mumbai.
