Further probe sought into Moulavis death

KOCHI: The Kizhur Samyuktha Muslim Jamaath Committee has approached the Kerala High Court seeking further investigation into the suspicious death of C M Abdulla Moulavi, an Islamic scholar and Khasi of Chembirikka in Kasargod and Mangalore.He was found dead in the sea near his residence at Chembirikka on February 15, 2010.The petitioner Mahin Kallatra submitted that though the case was entrusted with the CBI, the investigation was perfunctory. “The present CBI team was planning to close the investigation by concluding the death as suicide.The findings of the CBI are without examining any facts,” the petitioner submitted.
