Bengaluru: A Muslim family in Bengaluru was attacked by a cow vigilante group who claimed that they had sacrificed a cow during the Eid festival.
However, it is yet to be officially or scientifically confirmed whether they actually slaughtered a cow or not.
Suspecting that the family members are indulged in cow slaughtering, the members of gau rakshak barged their farm house in Bannerghatta and assaulted the family members.
The family members reportedly rubbished the charges. Fearing life they somehow managed to escape and took shelter at Bannerghatta police station.
A case has been lodged by the local police against the attackers.
No one has been arrested so far.
