We have known for sometime that Nadeem and Nasir Irani, sons of late Nariman Irani, producer of the original Don, have been toying with the idea of their own sequel of the film. Don 2 - The Return of the King was to star the original Don – Amitabh Bachchan!
Juicy Mausi has some more new for us on this. She hears that the producer duo have plans of approaching King Khan to be a part of the same project.
According to a reliable source, "Now that SRK and Big B have decided to kiss and make up and the superstars are all set to come together in Farah Khan's Happy New Year, Nadeem and Nasir Irani intend to meet SRK and discuss their sequel to Don."
We hear that the role that will be offered to SRK is a parallel alongside Big B, and not a cameo. The film is going to be directed by a famous ad-filmmaker who has also written the script.
Farhan Akhtar, we had heard, also wanted to make a sequel to the original Don and King Khan was going to be the choice for the lead role. But grapevine has it that the rights of a sequel to the original film are only held by the Iranis. By agreeing to work with the producer-duo, SRK's dream of working in the sequel will finally come true!
If the project succeeds in getting the two legendary stars together, it will be a film worth waiting for. Will the fans of the superstars be lucky to see both Dons sharing the same screen space?!
