BANGALORE: The state government has not yet decided over selecting a senior police officer for the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG IGP) post.
Home Minister R Ashok said that the state government is studying all the legal aspects and would take a decision very soon pertaining to the matter of the selection of officers.Some say that two names have been sent to the government by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and some say the UPSC has to send three names to the government.
