Gurgaon: A local businessman was on Thursday arrested for allegedly raping his 16-year-old daughter for over a period of three years, police said.
The case was registered at Sushant Lok police station in Gurgaon based on the complaint filed by the victim who alleged that her father, Anil Kumar, repeatedly raped her during last three years, ACP, DLF, Bhupinder Singh told PTI.
The girl, a class XII student, reportedly told about her ordeal to her school teacher, who encouraged her to register the case, the ACP said.
The accused has been arrested, Singh said, adding that the girl's medical examination will be conducted.
