He was killed by the murderers to erase all evidence. However, Bishnu witnessed his father’s murder and was kidnapped by the killers on August 10, 2008, petitioner advocate Sujata Dash submitted.A case was subsequently filed in Gangapur police station but the fate of Bishnu or his whereabouts is not known. The petitioner expressed fear that Bishnu might have been killed. He also alleged that the police are hand in glove with the accused.Considering the submissions and the period consumed to trace the victim, the bench observed that it was proper and desirable to entrust the investigation with CBI.
