Nowadays, it seems six packs has become a buzzword among children as well. Child artiste Anilkumar is no exception. Irrespective of his physique, Anilkumar wants to become a hero like Dhuniya Vijay.The child artiste, who made his debut in Sandalwood with Dhildhar two years ago, is a member of Ranga Kahale, a theatre group. Later, he had also acted in tele serial, Panjarada Gini. “I had no difficulty to face the camera during the shooting of Nanna Gopala. I used to walk one km during the shooting of Nanna Gopala,” he recalls.Nanna Gopala, is a children’s film, based on a play with a similar title. It was written by Kuvempu. He had acted as the son of a widow who requests his mother to send a friend to accompany him to the school that is located at another village. Studying in 5th standard at Government Primary School, Channasandra, wants to become a hero. “I am impressed by Vijay’s performance in Dhuniya. I had an opportunity to act in Vijay’s yet to be released film Jarasandha. However, I was not lucky to meet my favourite hero on the sets. I want to meet him whenever there is an opportunity. I will go to a gym to develop six packs in future,” he said.He had also acted in Crazy Star Ravichandran’s much hyped film Manjina Hani. He was lucky to meet Ravichandran during the shooting. “My joy knew no bounds when I met Ravichandran Sir on the sets. He has appreciated my acting,” he says.He has also proved his mettle as a dubbing artiste. He is the most sought after artiste to dub for child artistes who could not speak Kannada fluently. “I dubbed my voice for films such as Kirathaka, Prince and Police Bete,” he says.What does he do with remuneration? “I do not know anything about my remuneration. My brother Mohan takes care of those things,” the child artiste signs off with a smile.
