Illegal discotheque raided, two arrested

BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Women and Narcotics Squad of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested two persons for allegedly running a discotheque illegally at Beach Bar and Restaurant on Indiranagar 100 Feet Road.The accused have been identified as Vikas (26), a resident of Doopanahalli near Indiranagar and Deepak (26) of Abbaiah reddy Layout near Kaggadasapura. However, owners of the bar Kaneendra Burman and Pankaj Patia have managed to escape.Police raided the bar and restaurant on a tip off and found that discotheque was being run without any license. The duo, who were in-charge of the discotheque, were arrested.
