Srinagar: The deserted streets of Kashmir, which saw police and protestors fighting fiercely over the Israeli raids on Hizbollah, are now resonating tunes of harmony.
A group of youth from Israel has been in Kashmir for the past few days spreading the message of peace even as Israel was bombing targets in Lebanon.
The youths took a round of Srinagar with a CNN-IBN team, trying to spread the message of brotherhood. During this trip, they put up in a traditional houseboat.
"It is a great experience living in the houseboat. It is very fancy. It is very quiet. Maybe 100 metres from here, there is noise, It is nice," Gil Bluver, one of the youths, said.
The young Jews were taking a vacation in the valley without the knowledge of their parents.
Despite knowing the fact that tourists are on top of the target list of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir at this moment, the Israeli youngsters selected the valley to unwind and relax.
