J&K: 4 policemen injured after terrorists hurl grenade towards security forces

Four policemen were injured on Wednesday in an encounter with terrorists in Soura area of Srinagar, police sources said.

The gunbattle broke out in Ahmadnagar locality of Soura on Wednesday evening when police cordoned off the area following information about the presence of terrorists there, the sources said.

They said the terrorists hurled a grenade towards the security forces injuring four policemen. Exchange of fire between the two sides was going on intermittently, sources said, adding, that additional security forces have been rushed to the area.
