Kavitha: Stop Dummugudem Project

BHADRACHALAM: Telangana Jagruti president K Kavitha took part in an all-party round table conference on Dummugudem tail pond project held here on Friday. Speaking at the meeting, she accused the state government of doing injustice to Telangana region by allocating more Krishna and Godavari waters to Andhra region.The state should abandon Dummugudem project as it would make some parts of Telangana region a desert, she said.The Telangana Rashtra Samithi would organise massive protests if the state government failed to stop Dummugudem project, she said.Earlier, she visited the place which was allotted for Dummugudem tail pond project at Anantharam in Manuguru mandal.
