Khatoli: Gang of arms supplier busted, two country-made guns seized

An arms supplier gang was busted with the arrest of one of its members and seizure of two guns at Khatoli in Muzaffarnagar district, police said on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Naushad (26), and seized two country-made guns from his possession on Friday, while other members of the gang are still at large, they said.

During interrogation, the accused confessed that he was supplying illegal arms manufactured at Jolla in the district, police said, adding that further investigations are on.
