New Delhi: AC Milan are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League tournament, after they overcame hosts Bayern Munich 2-0.

Clarence Seedorf opened the scoring for Milan in the 27th minute, taking a pass from Kaka and finding the bottom right-hand corner of the Bayern net.

Four minutes later it was Filippo Inzaghi's turn, the Italian doing what he does best; firing in the goal past the helpless Oliver Kahn.

Milan were 2-0 up in the first half and the score remained the same at full time. The Italian giants will now play Manchester United in the semi-finals.

In fourth and final match of the quarter-finals, Liverpool beat PSV Eindhoven to set up a semi-final clash with Chelsea in the Champions League.

After a goalless first half, Liverpool came back to take the lead. A clever pass from Robbie Fowler found towering striker Peter Crouch who fired in the only goal of the game in the 68th minute.

PSV failed to inspire throughout the match meekly giving in to Liverpool.

With this result, three English clubs have made it to the semi-finals.
