New Delhi: Starbucks made quite a dramatic entry in the heart of the capital. With queues running up to quite a few hundred metres, the zeal for the world's most popular coffee never seemed to fade off their faces.
However, keeping the Dilliwaalas happy as they stood waiting, the Starbucks staff served shot glasses filled with iced tea and cold coffee for free. Of course you don't complain while you are treated this well in a queue. Waiting isn't a pain that way!
Friendly faces greet you patiently as you figure out a way to shout out your order as hundreds of starry-eyed coffee lovers huddled to get a seat. The place gives you a vintage feeling and the jazz music adds to the broadway look of the place.
The coffee, hot or cold, and the food lives up to the 'Starbucks' brand. One would also not want to leave the place without getting themselves a Starbucks memento.
On Day one, while the Starbucks staff was busy serving the crowds, none of the staff members lost that smile from their face. They even had an additional job of clicking pictures on demand by those excited to visit the coffee house in Delhi.
Buzzing like a true hotspot, the 'experience' leaves you yearning for more.
