Mass cleanup programme begins in city

CHENNAI: Days after the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa announced a massive cleanup drive at the Assembly, the Corporation on Wednesday kick started a mega drive to clear the stagnant waste within the city limits.As per a release, the top brass of the Local Administration Ministry and the civic body are now working on different modules under which the project can be executed in a phased manner.The project is planned to be executed in three months.
