New Delhi: A 23-year-old MBA student was killed while his woman friend escaped unhurt when his speeding car turned turtle after hitting a road divider in south Delhi early Friday, police said.

Ramandeep Singh, a resident of Yusuf Sarai in south Delhi, was driving the Toyota Corolla car. He died on the spot while his friend Neha Bindra, in her early 20s, escaped unhurt.

The accident took place on the Panchsheel Park flyover around 4 am when they were returning from Gurgaon after attending a party.

"Ramandeep raced his car on the Panchsheel Park flyover, lost control and hit the divider. The car turned turtle, killing Ramandeep on the spot," said a police officer.

"The driver was not drunk, neither was Neha," added the official.
