Of the total number of students, 23,160 students appeared for the Class 12 (Arts Stream) exam only 17,318 have cleared the examination. The pass percentage is 74.78 percent. As per results announced on Friday, this year, the pass percentage of girls is 75.84 per cent and 55.14 per cent boys have passed the board examination.
Top-scoring district is Ri-Bhoi with 86.01% pass percentage and South Garo Hills with 48.21% pass percentage remain the least-scoring district.
Lily Kharthangmaw with 440 marks topped the Class 12 exam and Susanna Kharmawshun bagged secong spot with 439 marks. Brinda Gewali secured third position with 436 marks.

Of the total number of students, 50,077 students appeared for the Class 10 exam only 28,424 have cleared the examination. The overall pass percentage is 56.76 percent. As per results announced on Friday, this year, the pass percentage of girls is 79.67% and 78.44% boys have passed the board examination.
Anurag Tewari has topped the Class 10 examination with 581 marks while Trisha Seal Sharma secured second position with 573 marks. Yash Khandelwal got 569 marks and secured third position.
As per results announced on Friday, East Khasi Hills with 79.04% pass percentage became the top-scoring district whereas South West Garo Hills remained the east-scoring district with 26.65% pass percentage.

There were a total of 23551 male candidates and 27765 female candidates out of which 9675 males and 12159 female candidates came under the Regular 1 category (schools affiliated to MBOSE) while 5519 male and 6569 female candidates fall in the Regular 2 category (schools unaffiliated to MBOSE). A total of 1021 male and 1080 female private candidates are appearing in the examination. This year there were a total of 78 examination centres in the Khasi-Jaintia Hills region while 59 of them are located in the Garo Hills. No cases of cheating or misconduct were reported from any exam centre this year and the examination concluded quite peacefully.
