Medley of art, culture at Ninasam

SHIMOGA:  A week-long culture course will be conducted by Ninasam at their campus at Heggodu in Sagar taluk from October 2. The course has been Ninasam’s major annual event for the last two decades. The course is designed around a specific theme and combination of discussions on art forms. A series of cultural programmes will be held in the evening. With the theme ‘Languages of the Land’, the course would be conducted under the direction of Jnanpith awardee Prof U R Ananthamurthy. The main agenda is to introduce various languages and cultures to Kannadigas and vice versa.
