BANGALORE: Sri Kasi Arya Vysya Vrudhashramam will give scholarships to meritorious students on September 25.The trust, promoted by the leaders of the Arya Vysya community, will provide financial assistance to deserving students of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.“This year, we will provide financial help to the tune of six crore rupees for nearly 1,800 students of which, nearly one crore rupee will be distributed to Karnataka students,” said Jakka Nagabhushanam, president of the association.Furthermore, he said, “Keeping in mind the d i f f i c u l t i e s f a c e d by the students in Karnataka, we decided to host the event in Bangalore also.” The Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah will distribute the scholarships at NMKRV College on September 25.
