Mumbai: The King of pop is it seems still the king! Hundreds of Michael Jackson fans lined up in the cold and rain outside London's O2 arena for tickets to the legend's comeback concert, his first since 2001.
Fans started queuing up with tents, chairs and sleeping bags from Wednesday onwards for the tickets that went on sale on Friday morning and were sold out in just four hours.
While general tickets cost $ 105, the VIP ones went for $ 1,100.
"It felt amazing. It paid off. Two nights, definitely worth it, I knew it would be," says a buyer.
It is said that the concert tour is an attempt to settle the troubled pop stars debts running into millions. But this will be the last time that fans will be seeing the 'Thriller' star performing live on stage
“I’ll be performing the songs my fans want to hear. This is it, I mean this is really it, this is the final, and this is the final curtain call. And I'll see you in July," says Michael Jackson.
According to reports, Jackson has planned his comeback tour. The king of pop the pop has planned 50 concerts in London starting on July 8 and ending on February 24 .
