The CEO of a multi-national company was on Wednesday evening arrested in Chennai for possessing 3.88 grams of cocaine worth about Rs 20,000.
The narcotics control bureau nabbed the CEO of e-publishing company Jouve India following a tip-off.
He was reportedly arrested while taking the delivery of cocaine, which was disguised as a parcel. According to officials, the MNC CEO had ordered the drug through a website.
Officials further said that that the CEO had been getting the drug from a Bangalore-based supplier through courier for the last one year.
