Mumbai: The main accused in the Esther Anuhya rape and murder case has been convicted.
A sessions court convicted Chandrabhan Sanap for the rape and murder of 23-year-old Anuhya. The quantam of sentence for the convicted will be pronounced on Wednesday.
Anuhya was abducted, raped and murdered by the accused in January, 2014. Anuhya's charred remains were found in Bhandup in Maharashtra 10 days after the incident.
