Muslim group asks for Bajrang Dal ban
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen suggested a ban on Bajrang Dal in the wake of blasts like the one in Malegoan.

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) suggested a ban on Bajrang Dal in the wake of the 'accidental blast' in Nanded in March, and predicted the downfall of all secular parties in the country if Sangh Pariwar continues to carry out hate campaign activities and create terror setting off blasts like the one in Malegoan.

Talking to newsmen, Hyderabad AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi also alleged that the Sangh Pariwar wants to make Maharashtra another Gujarat and demanded a monitoring cell in the Central Intelligence wing to keep a vigil on Hindu fundamental terror groups and their activities in the country.

He charged that when the blasts in Mumbai trains took place the police and media pointed fingers at Muslim fundamental terror groups. When blasts like Malegoan occur, they are termed as terrorist activities.

"Why can't the police also suspect the hand of Hindu fundamental terror groups behind such attacks", he questioned.

Owaisi said that in 2004, there was a bomb blast outside a place of worship in Parbani in Maharasthra on Ramzan festival day, in which one person died. Again in 2005 there were series of blast in Jalna, Beed, Nanded and Parbani.

"This year in March there was an accidental blast at Nanded Bajrangdal Office in Nanded, where three were killed while preparing bombs. Muslim prayer caps, artificial beards and a dairy were recovered from the spot. Even in the recent Melagoan blasts, the local police found a artificial beard from a person who was killed", he explained.
