KOCHI: The 30th National Yogasana Championship will be held at the Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal, from December 29 to 31. The programme is being hosted by the Ernakulam District Yoga Sports Association under the aegis of the Kerala Yoga Association.“The national championship is intended to give a shot in the arm for spreading better awareness about Yoga and its benefits among the people,” said L B Suresh Menon, National Yogasana Championship organising secretary. Around 600 candidates, who are the winners of the state-level championships, from 23 states are expected to participate in the national championship. In all, 36 delegates from Kerala have qualified for participation in the championship. The delegates are the winners of the state-level yogasana championship conducted by the Kerala Yoga Association in Thiruvananthapuram recently.
