The Indore-Yashwantpur Express (Puja Special) will ply regularly from August 4. Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will flag off the train. The train's services were extended five times since its launch in October 2012.

Indore: Illegal colonies to be registered after court order

Following the Apex Court’s stay order on the Gwalior High Court’s decision, the work of registration of plots and houses in illegal colonies began on Wednesday. According to sources, the Gwalior Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, while listening to a review petition had ordered to stop registration of illegal colonies. On the order of the High Court, the registration department had stopped the registration process across the state. The decision had added to the pending cases of registration at the Registrar offices in the state. This was resulting in huge loss of revenue to the government.

 Indore: IIM Sports Complex launches '60-day six-pack' challenge

The Sports Complex of IIM Indore launched the fitness programme series of the new academic year on Wednesday acknowledging the direct relationship between physical fitness and academic excellence. The event marked the grand opening of the 60-Day Six- Pack-Challenge Programme and Advance Zumba Fitness Training. The programme has received overwhelming response from IIM Indore community.

Bhopal: State government constitutes Bhojpuri Sahitya Academy

After organising panchayats for various sections of the society, the state government is now making efforts to reach them culturally as well. With assembly elections hardly three months away, the state government has constituted Bhojpuri Sahitya Academy, which will be working under the culture department. The decision of constituting academies bore fruits immediately: Bhojpuri Ekta Manch held a meeting on Wednesday and decided to felicitate chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the decision.

Jhabua: PG doctors to be paid Rs 1 lakh salary in remote areas

In order to attract talented doctors for service at smaller places particularly in tribal- dominated areas, National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has decided to offer a post graduate doctor on a consolidated salary of Rs 1 lakh if he/she agrees for posting at primary health centres and sub-health centres in the districts of Jhabua, Alirajpur, Badwani, Mandla, Dindori, Sidhi, Singrauli and Anuppur.
