Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday refuted claims of delay by the state government in informing the Centre about the Pathankot attack. He also said that a state government has a very limited role in such matters.
Speaking exclusively to CNN-IBN's Executive Editor Bhupendra Chaubey, he said that there was no lack of coordination because the role of state was very limited.
Speaking about the SP and the police force, the deputy CM refused to come to any judgement on the SP. "Let's not jump the gun, NIA is investigating. Let the truth come out," he said.
Responding to questions on Congress'charge on poor Pakistan policy, he said that PM Modi has a better foreign policy than Congress. "It is the first time a Pakistan Prime Minister has called to say that he is sympathetic towards India and will take actions", he said.
