Opposition gheraos Municipal Secretary

ANGAMALY:   Demanding to hand over the copy of the minutes of the council meeting held on July 28, the opposition councillors of the Angamaly Municipality gheraoed the municipal secretary in his office on Tuesday.“We gheraoed him as the chairman deliberately remained absent in the office for the last couple of days to avoid issues related to the  minutes,” the opposition councillors alleged.According to the agitating councillors, on July 28 the chairman left the council hall even without discussing the agenda passed in the council meeting.The chairman also ignored to circulate the copy of the minutes of the meeting within the stipulated time.
