The Pakistan Joint Investigation Team, which is in India to for probe into the Pathankot terror attacks, will on Tuesday visit the airbase in the Punjab border town. This comes even as a political storm has erupted over the issue.
A five-member team is slated to escort the Pakistan JIT members to the attack scene. The Pakistan team will be given only limited access to the airbase.
On Monday, NIA officials had raised Jaish-e-Mohammed's involvement in the attacks with the Pakistan team.
Meanwhile, there was no end to the politics over the issue with both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress targeting the Narendra Modi government. The parties have accused the Prime Minister of kneeling before Pakistan. They also questioned the presence of a former ISI member in the Pakistan probe team.
