New Delhi: The official websites of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, the University of Delhi, and the Aligarh Muslim University were hacked on Tuesday, allegedly by Pakistan-based hackers.
The hacker/hackers are believed to be the same or of the same group due to the similarity in the messages put out on the websites of these esteemed institutions.
The hacker hacked www.iitd.ac.in and wrote against the Indian government and the Indian Armed forces on the landing pages of the website.
“Greetings Government of India, and the people of India :) the hackers said, adding, “This hack is in response to Code-Man’s hack of railways.gov.pk and in the solidarity of innocent Kashmiri People being killed by Indian Army!”
The hacker group said it has not stolen or deleted any data of IIT Delhi but was delivering message to the “government and the people of India”.
“Kashmir will be Pakistan,” the hackers wrote on the website, which was restored by IIT-Delhi after a gap of several minutes.
