The court had earlier reserved its order on the CBI plea to separate the trial of Swiss Timing Ltd.
New Delhi: The Patiala Court is set to hear the trial of Swiss Timing on Thursday, the firm which was awarded the timing, scoring and results systems contract for the Commonwealth Games last year.
The court had earlier reserved its order on the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) plea to separate the trial of Swiss Timing Ltd.
The defence counsel claimed there was no legal provision under which it had sought separation of trial against the firm.
Swiss Timing had been engaged for providing some components of TSR services even during the Commonwealth Youth Games (CYG), 2008, when Kalmadi, Bhanot and Verma came in contact with Arya and Madan and other representatives of the Swiss firm.
