TIRUCHY: The drivers involved in the car lorry collision, in which Mariyam Pichai died, were granted bail by the Chief Magisterial Court here on Thursday.
The CBCID sleuths produced the drivers of the car and lorry at the court, after their 15days remand period ended on Thursday. Judge Kuppusamy, who heard the bail petitons, granted bail for both the drivers.Minister for Environment and Minority Welfare N Mariyam Pichai's car rammed into a lorry at Tiruvilakurichi, in which the Minister died on the spot.

The CBCID had arrested the car driver Anandan and the lorry driver Sheik Nahamadullah, who were subjected to interrogation.
