Prakash Raj wins Nandi Award for 'Dookudu'
The National Award-winning actor has won ninth Nandi Award for the best supporting actor for Sreenu's 'Dookudu'.

Prakash Raj has won his ninth Nandi Award. The National Award-winning actor may be best dubbed is one of the best actors of South India.

He has won his latest Nandi for the Best Supporting actor's role in Sreenu Vaitla's 'Dookudu'. It saw him in the role of a former people's leader relegated to the confines of his bungalow after being in coma for more than a decade. Back in his conscious, he bonds big time with his family, while his son (played by Mahesh Babu) tries his best to make him cheer up.

Portraying child-like innocence and the emotions of an average father proud of his son's achievements, he excelled in the role with ease. This much-deserved Nandi has made him happy.

In a statement issued from where he is currently shooting for 'Dabanng 2', he said that he was happy on being bestowed the honour yet again.
