PSV delivered to Norwegian firm

KOCHI: The Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) on Friday delivered a platform supply vessel (PSV) built for Norwegian company DOF Rederi II, AS. This is the third of the high technology offshore vessel built and delivered by CSL this financial year.The Protocol documents of the ship were signed by technical director Vinayakumar P on behalf of Cochin Shipyard and DOF Rederi II AS project manager TDO Ferje Rabben.The vessel is of PSV 09 CD type designed by STX OSV Norway. It is classified under the Rules and Regulations of Det Norske Veritas (DNV).  With Grade-II Dynamic Positioning features, the vessel has been assigned the ‘CLEAN’ design notation by DNV signifying the highest levels of environmental compliance.
