A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped and left bleeding by an unknown person in bushes at Mandan village in Alwar district, police said in Jaipur on Wednesday.
Seriously wounded child was referred to Jaipur's SMS hospital, they said.
Yesterday, the victim was picked up from the roadside shelter by a man while her parents (nomads) had gone to earn bread in the area around 3:30 pm, the police said.
Later, the parents found the child near the bushes with multiple injuries and bleeding, they said.
The victim was taken at Behror hospital from where she was referred to Jaipur late last night, police added.
An FIR was lodged under various sections of IPC and POCSO against the accused who is yet to be traced, they said.
