BANGALORE: B Flat will present the blues band Soulmate on June 22 at 8.30 pm. Soulmate is arguably, India’s most popular blues band ever, having created waves across the country in the last decade.The band consists of Rudy Wallang (vocals), Tips Khabyangar (guitar), Sam Shullai (drums), Leon Wallang (bass) and Raveen Pandey (keyboard).They will be presenting popular songs from their previous albums and also lots of new material not performed in Bangalore to date.They created history by being the first and only blues band ever to represent India at the 23rd International Blues Challenge.They were semi-finalists and performed at The Rum Boogie Cafe (Blues Club of The Year) on Beale Street alongside 150 other bands and musicians from all over the world.They were also part of the International Roots On The Move Festival, 2007 where they performed concerts and workshops all over North East India.Soulmate continue to play to packed houses and return to Bangalore regularly to their loyal fans and thanks to their immense popularity also to an ever growing fan base.
