The police is still trying to ascertain the estimate of the loss. The bank was functioning at the first floor of a building and some construction activities were underway in the ground floor.

The bank had been closed for the last three days ie. on on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The hole was dug from ground floor hole to the first floor.

There were three lockers in the bank of which two were looted. The robbery came to light on Monday morning when the bank reopened. Initial assumptions suggest that it can be a gang from outside with local support.
