The mastermind of a gang allegedly involved in leaking papers of competitive exams conducted by RPSC was on Wednesday remanded in seven days' police custody.

The accused, R K Singh, who was held in Bihar on Tuesday by a team of Special Operation Group, was brought here and produced before a local court where the magistrate remanded him to the police custody.

"We are interrogating the accused to ascertain the source of the papers and other members of his gang. Primary interrogation reveals that there are some more people involved in the inter-state gang and we are also tightening the noose around them also," SP, SOG, Surendra Kumar said.

The gang members had allegedly leaked and sold paper of Rajasthan Administrative Services prelims exam 2013. After the gang was busted by the SOG on a complaint by the RPSC, the commission cancelled the exam.
