Chennai: Sanam Singh lost just two games against Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan as he outplayed his second seed compatriot to reach the final of the ITF men's Futures tournament on Friday.
Third seed Sanam cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win in the semi-finals of the USD 10,000 hard court event but top seed Enrique Lopez-Perez prevented an all Indian final by defeating N Sriram Balaji in the other semi-final.
The Spaniard beat fourth seed Balaji 7-6(6),1-6, 6-2.
It will be second singles final for Sanam in as many weeks. He had lost to compatriot Saketh Myneni last week in Bhimawaram in Andhra Pradesh.
Jeevan later combined with Vishnu Vardhan to win the doubles crown with a 7-6 (1), 6-3 win over Balaji and Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan.
