TIRUPATI: The Samaikyandhra Joint Action Committee (SJAC), which had been maintaining a low profile for the past few months, has resumed its counteragitation after the success of Sakalajanula Samme of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC). The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) disassociated itself from the Samaikyandhra JAC meeting organised by primary education minister S Sailajanath here on Wednesday. Telangana Congress leaders flayed their counterparts in Seemandhra region for organising a meeting in support of united Andhra.
Addressing Samaikyandhra Vidyarthi Garjana organised by the Samaikyandhra Parirakshana Samithi (SAPS) at Chadalawada Engineering College grounds, Sailajanath demanded that Andhra Pradesh remain united. Sailajanath, who is also Samaikyandhra Legislators JAC leader, said they were fighting for the unity of Telugus. The movement is not a struggle of a single individual, but of people of all the three regions. Telangana leaders were forgetting the fact they were able to stand and speak in Telugu due to the struggle for a linguistic state. "TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao is behaving like an autocrat. Rao knows well that the T state will not be formed," he said.
