SC dismisses plea filed against Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani for nude 'PK' poster
Dismissing the plea, the apex court told the petitioner, 'These are matters of art and entertainment; let them remain so'.

Relief is in order for Aamir Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani, producer and director of film 'PK'. Supreme court today dismissed a Public Interest Litigation which sought a ban on the exhibition of posters in which a naked Aamir is standing on rail tracks for promoting the film 'PK'.

Dismissing the plea, the apex court told the petitioner, "If you don't like then don't watch the film but don't bring religious facets in it", adding that, "these are matters of art and entertainment and let them remain so."

The petition, filed by All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front on Wednesday, alleged that the film promotes nudity and pleaded the apex court to immediately intervene in the matter.

Earlier, Aamir Khan clearly stated that the poster is not made with an intention to garner cheap publicity.
