CHENNAI: The James Cook university ( JCU) Australia, one of the top 400 universities in the world, has inaugurated its private campus at Singapore in 2003. The university currently offers programmes brought directly from Australia and guarantees students the same quality of university education. JCU Singapore was awarded the Singapore quality class award for private education. Through its Indian strategic partner IMPT ( Institute of Management Training and Placement ) a premier consulting organisation in South India is conducting scholarship exams for Indian students who aspire to do their MBA with specialisation in Human Resource (HR), Marketing and International Business, Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Management and MIT ( Masters in Information Technology) in e-commerce and networking in JCU Singapore. Students with any degree (60 per cent and above ) from recognised Indian universities are eligible to apply for admission to above mentioned programs and the MIT Dual maters degree. JCU Singapore also offers bachelor’s degree programmes in IT, Management, Psychology and Hospitality. Students with 60 per cent and above in the standard 12 examinations can apply for the bachelor’s degree scholarship programmes.
