Delhi: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Wednesday lodged a First Information Report (FIR) about the burglary in his house. The theft happened in the early hours of November 29.
Following a complaint by Tharoor, a case has been filed under IPC section 380/457 (burglary) at Tughlak Road police station.
According to media reports, several valuable items, including idols and “copper Gandhi glasses” gifted to him by the Prime Minister, were stolen from Tharoor's Lodhi estate home.
The police are yet to identify the accused.
A team of crime branch is also probing the case.
